The Pantone Matching System (PMS) is a system that is shared world wide by the graphic arts and print industry. You may view this screen to help specify a certain PMS number to use. This
chart is a reference guide only. Pantone colours on computer
screens may vary based on the graphics
card and monitor used in your system. The Pantone Matching System was created
to make a uniform standard for spot colours. There can be very drastic
differences in colour when you choose a PMS colour and then print the job
as four-colour process. It is highly recommended that if you are going to
print four-colour, and you have chosen a Pantone colour to match, that you
have a PMS book that shows a four-colour swatch next to the PMS colour so
you will be aware of possible colour shifts.
Please note: Every computer monitor varies slightly in the colours displayed. To insure an accurate PMS match, you should consult an actual PMS colour swatch book. This chart is to give you an
idea of the PMS colours... use a PMS book for an accurate match. PDF Colour Chart |
